Lim, i will never forget the day i first played starcraft, after watching your amazing match against Yellow and your scv rush, since that day, no mattered what kind of comment they said about you, it didnt matter if your macro wasnt like NaDa's or if the Air force duty was destroying your skill as progamer, i always thought and still think you are a genious, the best strategist I ever seen, your guts and courage to risk an entire match with strategies never seen before helped me in my career at high school- university - and now physicist,i am waiting for your comeback, and really wanting sc2 to have the same macro/micro magic of brood war, to see you pioneering there and amusing us as you always done.

Throughout my life I have found two people that I want to emulate because I find them so close to perfection. Since I'll never meet da Vinci and his life is shrouded in mystery I want to follow you. But I know that I am not as strong willed. Whenver I play starcraft, even though I love the game, I have the feeling that I am just wasting my time on a childhood game when I could be doing something better. I only play maybe twice a week but I have watched most of the top starcraft videos and put so much time into just a game. Even so I throughly enjoyed reading about your life, your greatest enemy (laziness) and even your petpeeves of fans and such. I don't know what to do with my life anymore, I love architecture but there's no way for me to prove my talent here, and the career is going down the drain because 80% of houses don't even use architects (cookie cutters). Sorry, I wanted to comment and wrote my life story.

Q1 Why use tank at all?
Its splash damage kills own targets

Painful to watch all of those vultures die when protoss zealous storm tanks. 2 vulture, with proper micro, can take out a dragoon, while without proper micro, can blast through the shield and do about 70 damage to the dragoon. Why not all vultures?
Or bunkers?

Just curious

  Personally for Lim Yo Hwan:

I have learned how to play, thanks to you. I really hope you will be back in routine. Many people think that StarCraft is no-life action, but they're way wrong. StarCraft advances your brain to react and gain strategy brain.
I bet there aren't many Finnish people who have written here, and I want to be one of them.
Have you thought, why do so many Korean people play StarCraft? I have no idea, but StarCraft has been spreaded so broadly, that almost every country has people playing this game.
Do you miss StarCraft? I bet so. It's the best game in the world, and the sequel is coming. Learn StarCraft II well, and become a champion as you did in the original.
Regards, NucuNucu.

I was 9 years old in 1999 when Starcraft came out. I remember, I completed all campaigns and told myself, This game is really fun, I should play on Battle.net! My first game, I get six pooled...I vowed never to play again and stashed away the game.

2004, after five years, and after learning of your success and beautiful passion to extend Starcraft beyond what seemed to be its limits, moved me so greatly, that not only did it bring me back into the game, and made me sure I could succeed, but your actions made me believe in myself and in my passion for success that was hidden all this time.

Boxer be safe and know that you will always live in glory and success no matter what you strive for...

Yours truly,

So impressed to see this cool web-site. Today Boxer won the game but his team lost the game. So sorry to hear that... His colleage players might not be able to concentrate on training coz he's in the army which we all Korean guys have to be in for over 2 years. Living as a soilder(no matter what's gonna do in there) is so tough... Let us say GG/GL to his colleages, too!

I just know about Boxer, never knew that he is a great SC player ever. Even I don't know a thing about playing SC, reading about him, and watching on tv when he's practicing in such amount of times makes me thinking...Hell yeah...he's good!

Boxer...your story made me think to 'do not cross the road that aim at you' and even I don't play SC like other's do, you are my inspiration to do better!

Emperor I'm still waiting for you to be back bro.
I was so sad when you didn't make the 16"Gang" in OnGameNet Ever Starleague. Oh well, dude, seriously, I started playing Starcraft because of you. Because of your excellent playing skills and amazing strategies, I, a freakin noob, still try to play starcraft!!!

I am gonna try to see ya at one of the Proleague matches in Seoul this winter. Until then, peace out ma man.
